Job Brief

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Security Lead – Microsoft/Azure to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft security technologies, Azure security management, cloud security operations, and security governance.

The candidate will be responsible for managing and strengthening the organization's security infrastructure, identifying security risks, implementing security controls, and ensuring compliance with security best practices across Microsoft and Azure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage technical security operations across Microsoft and Azure environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud security controls and security policies.
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents and potential threats.
• Manage Microsoft security solutions, including Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Implement identity and access management (IAM), privileged access controls, and authentication policies.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability management, and risk analysis.
• Ensure secure configuration and monitoring of Azure resources and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with IT, infrastructure, and application teams to implement security best practices.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, procedures, and incident response plans.
• Support compliance requirements, audits, and security governance initiatives.
• Guide team members on security operations and emerging cybersecurity risks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in technical security management, with relevant Microsoft/Azure experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure security services and cloud security architecture.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Defender XDR, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Knowledge of identity and access management, MFA, conditional access, and RBAC.
• Experience with security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response.
• Understanding of network security, firewalls, endpoint security, and vulnerability management.
• Familiarity with security frameworks, policies, and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
